Job description

With some supervision, will provide design and build expertise of Epic Security. Develops, upgrades, and supports Epic Security, ensuring consistent documentation standards. Knowledge transfer with co-workers and client base is a key function of the position. Exhibits a learning approach in achieving knowledge proficiency in Epic from a functional and build perspective. Consistently utilizes critical thinking and analytic abilities in seeking and resolving issues.
 
Education: Minimum requirement of an Associate's degree in healthcare, computer or other related field.
 
Licensure/Certification: Epic Security certification at time of hire or must obtain within 6 months after hire. Epic SER Badge at time of hire or must obtain within 9 months after hire.
 
Experience: Minimum requirement of 2 years experience in information technology, preferably in healthcare or other related field. Possesses the ability to address process requirements. Skilled at problem solving, strong organization skills, strong attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to minimally understand complex issues. Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, effectively with technical team, as well as leaders and end users. Must be available and accessible 24/7/365.
