Job description

Serves as a Staff Support Specialist (MSS-1) at an En Route facility.

Qualifications:

Candidates must show specialized experience. Specialized experience is defined as:

1. Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year (52 weeks);

OR

2. Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) at an ATO facility {NOTE: An employee who has been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) at an ATO facility who is upgraded is considered to have met the qualification requirements of the higher-level position, since he/she has been performing the higher-graded work};

OR

3. Must have held a MSS/TMC position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATO facility {reference NOTE above}.

IN ADDITIONto meeting the qualification requirements above, candidates MUST also be eligible to make application. Revision 1, "MSS Qualification Requirements for AT-2152 Terminal and Enroute Positions" may be used to determine your eligibility to apply.

For this position, applicants must currently hold or have held the position of CPC/TMC/TMS, MSS-1 or higher (or) FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or higher in a Headquarters or Region (Service Center) position.

Evaluation Criteria:Candidates will be rated in accordance with the instructions contained in FAA Form 3330-43-1, (06/00 or 10/11) Rating of Air Traffic Experience for AT Movement.
