Travel Radiology Technologist | Edwards, CO | Travel Contract

Pyramid Consulting is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Edwards, Colorado.

Location: Edwards, CO 81632
Shift: Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts
EMR: Cerner

Contract duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hr

Pay Package

  • Regular Pay: $16.50/hr
  • Weekly Housing & Meal Stipend: $1,968.96/week
  • Weekly Gross Pay: $2,562.96 (subject to completion of scheduled hours)

Job Description

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to Vail Health protocols.
  • Operate Large C-Arm and O-Arm equipment under the direction of the surgeon.
  • Assist Radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures while maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
  • Verify patient identity, physician orders, and exam accuracy before performing procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner EMR and PACS/HIS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety, infection prevention, HIPAA, and departmental policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Monitor imaging supply inventory and maintain clean, organized exam and procedure rooms.
  • Provide compassionate care to patients of all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • Support department initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned. 

Requirements

  • Active ARRT (R) certification required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of radiology experience preferred.
  • MUST have O-Arm and Spine experience.
  • Experience operating Large C-Arm equipment required.
  • Working knowledge of Cerner EMR, PACS, and HIS systems preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills or ability to obtain required competencies within 90 days.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical and imaging environment while providing exceptional patient care.
