Registered Nurse- Psychiatricย (Contract Role)
Location:ย Concord, NH, 03301
Duration:ย 13-weeks contract
Shift: 12hr Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours:ย 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate:ย $1,944โ€“$2,088;ย (Negotiable based on experience)

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract role in Concord, NH. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and professional care to behavioral health patients during the night shift, ensuring safety and well-being in a fast-paced psychiatric environment.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
    • Monitor patients for changes in condition and provide timely intervention.
    • Administer medications and monitor side effects.
    • Provide therapeutic communication and emotional support to patients and their families.
    • Respond to psychiatric emergencies and implement de-escalation techniques.
    • Document patient information accurately using EMR (Cerner preferred).
    • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
    • Maintain a safe, secure, and respectful environment for patients and staff.
    • Follow all facility protocols, policies, and standards for psychiatric nursing.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years of recentย Psychiatric RN experience required.
    • Must have documented travel nursing experience.
    • Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact State RN license required.
    • License verification for all active RN licenses.
    • Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association required).
    • Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) certification required.
    • EMR Exp Preferred: Cerner, experience is preferred but not required
