Job description

Registered Dietitian (Contract)

Location: California 93301 (Kern County Network – AHTV, AHBD, AHDL; floating required)
Pay Rate: $2700/week
Schedule: Day Shift, 8-hour shifts


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Assess patients at nutritional risk and develop/adjust care plans

  • Provide medical nutrition therapy, education, and reassessment

  • Collaborate with care teams and document in Cerner PowerChart

  • Support staff education and maintain accurate patient records


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food & Nutrition (required)

  • Master’s Degree required (if exam eligibility began on/after 1/1/24)

  • Dietetic internship (or equivalent) required

  • Acute inpatient clinical experience required (2+ years preferred)

  • Registered Dietitian (RD): Required within 6 months of program completion
