Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring critical care experience, Cerner proficiency, and night shift availability.

Details
  • Acute care ICU setting with 36 private beds (24 actively utilized)
  • 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, which may increase up to 1:3
  • Common diagnoses include respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and OB conditions
  • 12-hour night shifts (1900–0730) on a self-scheduling basis, 3x12 per week
  • 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule; nights are Friday and Saturday
  • Charting system: Cerner
  • Floating to stepdown unit is a possibility
Requirements
  • Active IN or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of critical care (ICU) experience required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • BSN not required
