Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5

What work will you perform?

Evaluates and tests software programs to verify that programs function according to specifications and standards by performing the following duties.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Elicit and gather requirements for Test Automation by working closely with manual SQA Analysts
  • Plan and prioritize automation of new test cases added to the regression suite
  • Build Test Automation Strategies and Frameworks based on the planned and prioritized test automation work
  • Write complex SQL Queries and PL/SQL Stored Procedures for reading, updating, deleting and inserting data from/into various databases for input/output to automated test scripts
  • Identify, design and develop creative solutions for practical test automation problems during design, scripting, execution or maintenance
  • Write efficient, easy to follow documentation on automated test tools, scripts and processes
  • Promote, recommend, and implement improvements to test automation frameworks and processes
  • Plan, implement and support upgrades, configuration and customization of tools and technologies utilized by the SQA team
  • Mentor other team members in technical skills as well as business related areas and provide guidance on complex test automation efforts

Required Minimum Experience and Education:

  • 5 years' experience as an Automation Engineer
  • 5 years' of experience with Java and Selenium Framework
  • 5 years' experience with SQL

Preferred Experience and Education:

  • Jmeter\K6 experience
  • Automation server experience (Azure DevOps Pipelines)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to complete projects without direct supervision
  • Able to work with 3rd party development teams
