Job description

Summary:
Be part of our talented Food and Beverage team as Server Assistant - Specialty Restaurant at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas. Located in Greater Palm Springs, Grand Hyatt features 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, suites, casita-style villas, and two brand new Celebrity Chef (Angelo Sosa) food & beverage venues.
The Restaurant Busser (Server Assistant) is responsible primarily for assisting the Restaurant Server in table service for restaurant guests. Main responsibilities may include the following: beverage offerings and service, assisting with food delivery, clearing of items from guest table, clearing and resetting tables upon departure of guest, polishing glassware/silverware, sorting of equipment, general cleaning of dining areas and kitchen, other responsibilities as assigned by restaurant management team.
The hourly pay-rate for this position is $17.00 with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips. This is the pay rate for this position that Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay.
Qualifications:
  • Riverside County Food Handler's Card
  • Schedule availability in the evening (PM) shift, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to carry and balance large trays containing moderate-to-heavy items.
  • Able to push, pull, lift, moderate weight.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instruction with attention to detail.
