We are excited to invite motivated culinary professionals to apply for the Executive Sous Chef position at Boon Eat + Drink. Working closely with the Celebrity Chef Crista Luedtke, you will play a vital role in supporting daily kitchen operations, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere, and contributing to innovative menu development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a line cook, or previous sous chef roles.
  • Food Handler certification required
  • Assists with the creation of seasonal, monthly, or annual menus
  • Works with the Restaurant Chef/Owner and Chef de Cuisine to ensure food, beverage, and labor budgets are maintained and monitored
  • Supervises daily activities of the kitchen staff 
  • Ensures all kitchen equipment is running efficiently and arranging repairs or new parts when required
  • Looks over operating costs of running the kitchen to ensure food, equipment, and staffing budgets are not exceeded
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and nights, and must be available between Wednesday through Sunday nights
