Job description

A growing organization in the DFW area is seeking two detail-oriented Cash Applications Specialists for an immediate temporary need within a fast-paced accounting and treasury environment. This position will focus heavily on daily cash posting, payment application accuracy, reconciliation support, and resolving payment discrepancies across customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Apply and post daily cash receipts accurately and timely
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and open credits
• Partner with internal teams and customers to resolve payment-related issues
• Prepare cash posting and balancing reports for accounting/treasury leadership
• Support audit documentation and reporting requests
• Assist with reconciliation and cash application-related projects as needed
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail within high-volume transactional workflows
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of accounting, treasury, AR, or cash applications experience preferred
• Strong 10-key/data entry skills required
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office experience
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Previous experience within high-volume transactional or operational environments preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Accounting, Finance, or Business coursework/degree preferred
Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
