Pure Water Partners, a privately held specialty finance company in the bottle free water marketplace is actively seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated Cash Application/Accounting Specialist. This position is primarily concerned with cash applications and payment processing.

Effective interpersonal and communications skills as well as an ability to work independently are key to success in this position. This is an on-site, full-time role. If you are looking for a company that you can grow with and learn from, then we want to hear from you!

Job purpose

The Cash Application/Accounting Specialist position focuses on timely and accurate cash application and assists with accurate accounting of the lease receivables.

The Cash Application/Accounting Specialist may interact with customers and clients to provide information in response contract payments, accounts receivable and other billing questions. The position will involve processing payments and researching and reconciling unapplied items.

Duties and responsibilities

The following are the duties and responsibilities that of a Cash Application/Accounting Specialist. This listing should not be taken as an all-inclusive list of duties- other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.

  • Support accounting renewals and billing/payments
  • Ability to remain highly organized and possess a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and/or projects by using appropriate methodologies and tools
  • Daily interaction with our business partners via telephone and email
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate excellent interaction with other departments
  • Performs other tasks to support the finance department

Qualifications include:

  • Associates Degree or higher
  • Previous accounting or banking related experience required
  • Excellent Customer Service & Telephone Skills
  • Computer experience and aptitude (proficient in outlook, word, excel, QuickBooks and other business platforms)
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to think under pressure
