Job description

Job Description

Car Dealer Specialist serves as the primary interface between the company and car dealerships, executing sell-in and sell-out strategies to drive profitable growth in margin and share within the Car Dealer channel. The role leads category business planning, including assortment optimization, new product execution, pricing, promotions, and in-store merchandising, while collaborating closely with vehicle manufacturer field teams and local distributors. This position also builds and maintains strong customer relationships, partners with cross-functional internal teams to meet service goals, and delivers insights and reporting to management, including training and development support for dealership associates.

Location: Tennessee.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for car dealer customers, managing day-to-day relationships and ensuring strong partnership alignment.

  • Develop and execute category and customer business plans, including assortment, pricing, promotions, merchandising, and new product launches.

  • Drive profitable growth by identifying strategic opportunities related to pricing, promotion, supply, and key product lines.

  • Collaborate with internal crossfunctional teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Category, Analytics) to meet customer service and performance goals.

  • Partner with vehicle manufacturer field teams and local distributors to align initiatives and support sellin and sellout execution.

  • Provide performance reporting, insights, and feedback to management while supporting training and development of dealership associates.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree, with a master's degree preferred.

  • Professional experience in customer development, customer support, or sales within a business or commercial environment.

  • Exposure to working across multiple channels and functional areas within an organization.
