Job Description We are seeking a Transportation Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in truck transportation, carrier negotiations, freight pricing, and TMS updates and a proven ability to optimize cost and service while ensuring accurate freight rates and compliant shipment execution. Responsibilities: Support the enterprise transportation carrier management strategy through rate negotiations, relationship and capacity management, shipment execution, carrier segmentation, and spend management. Negotiate rates and contract terms with carriers and drive load pairing and backhaul opportunities across product lines. Analyze transportation operations to identify and implement process and cost improvements under general supervision. Serve as a subject matter expert on transportation markets and rates and ensure third-party transportation relationships are profitable and accretive to business unit earnings. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in carrier negotiations, freight pricing, and rate management for truck transportation. Ability to analyze transportation data to drive process, cost, and service improvements. Experience monitoring carrier KPIs and implementing corrective actions to meet service expectations. Experience with TMS updates and documentation, including contracts, freight rates, volume estimates, and invoice resolution. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Master Mind or comparable TMS platforms. Grain commodity trading exposure within agricultural or energy logistics. Work Schedule & Interview Process: Monday to Friday onsite, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with potential overtime during harvest season.
