Our Capacity Management Managers serves in a leadership role to oversee the organizational design, monitoring and maintenance of ambulatory capacity management functions across the clinical enterprise. Ensures patient centric access to services are delivered smoothly, efficiently, and timely. Collaborates with clinical and operational leadership to include Ambulatory clinic managers, directors and administrators as well as providers to identify and proactively mitigate issues which create barriers to ambulatory access and patient flow. Accountable for organizational patient appointment reminders, script based on visit type, message, build, enhancements and guidelines. Scope includes provider template build, management and enhancement for provider and ancillary schedules, continuous alignment of ambulatory capacity to meet patient access demand and oversight of capacity-related system configuration. Designs and collaborates builds of auto-search and decision tree with cadence leadership and testing of build. Works in a strong collaborative partnership with clinic operations, patient contact centers and IT and provider leadership. Prioritizes IT build and project work in direct collaboration with IT One Chart leadership. Aligns capacity management work to strategic initiatives throughout Nebraska Medicine to achieve organizational targets. Creates and maintains a goal-oriented climate of cross-team collaboration for effective problem solving, conflict resolution, support for organizational values and standard work. Provides leadership and coordination of integration support team(s). Actively promotes team building, staff development and participation to engage employees in continuous delivery of high-value, patient-oriented services and solutions.
Required Qualifications: Capacity Management Manager


Minimum of five years of Capacity, Healthcare, or Information Technology experience required.
Minimum of three years of leadership experience required.
High School Diploma required.
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field required.
Highly motivated self-starter who can motivate others.
Advanced leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to create and maintain a goal-oriented climate of cross-team collaboration for effectiveproblem solving, conflict resolution, support for organizational values and standard work.
Demonstrates broad and comprehensive knowledge of patient access workflow and policies and the ability to incorporate national best practices in complex and/or unprecedented situations across multiple functional areas.
Advanced skills in developing and implementing strategic plans, evaluating, and developing staff competencies, facilitating workflow improvements, and organizing multi-department operations.
Ability to translate strategy into operational process and workflows.
Thorough knowledge of patient access related metrics and the ability to leverage analytics and synthesize data.
Demonstrates sound, responsive decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to address problems which are highly varied, complex and often nonrecurring, requiring gathering input from multiple sources to find innovative and creative solutions.
Demonstrates excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely to all levels of staff and management.
Preferred Qualifications: Capacity Management Manager


Experience in Information Technology, Logistics, or business process flow preferred.
Strong understanding and demonstrated use of Epic Template Management and Cadence configuration preferred.
