Shift: Wednesday-Friday 4am - 4:30pm, plus 8hr shift every other Saturday

Wage Range: $32/r - $40/hr

While we have been making candy for a very long time we are in the middle of redefining how we provide world class reliable equipment for the production of Sweet Candy.

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced packaging maintenance technician to join our day shift maintenance team. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical skillset as well as manual machining experience, the primary focus of this position will be maintaining, improving reliability and repairing taffy packaging equipment primarily AMP Rose 42C Cut and Wrap machines, with occasionally helping on multi head scales, vertical baggers, pre-made pouch baggers, cartoners, casepackers, palletizers, robotic packaging equipment and conveyors. Strong communication skills, ability to lead by example, willingness to work some overtime, and shift flexibility are highly desired.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

ALWAYS work safely, follow all safety protocols, so all our people go home in the same condition in which they arrived

Work in compliance with all GMP, Food Safety and Sanitation standards

Must work well in a collaborative and multi-cultural, team-oriented environment

Strong background in mechanical repair and manual machining

Experience in troubleshooting factory automation systems including knowledge of controls, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, and pneumatics

Experience in troubleshooting electrical control circuits including knowledge of AC/DC and facility equipment wiring

3+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment in a similar environment

Mechanical experience in troubleshooting and repair of pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, piping systems

Communicate effectively and frequently to all stake holders including; production operators, management, quality, sanitation, human resources, peers and team members

Customer service and continuous improvement mindset
