Scope
This is an opportunity to join a high-impact marketing team focused on advancing key business priorities across North America Insurance.
We are seeking an experienced campaign strategist to join the North America Marketing team as its dedicated campaigns expert. This centralized role will partner with the Retail, Wholesale, Alternative Channels, and Distribution Marketing teams.
The Senior Marketing Manager, Campaigns will be the team's resident expert on campaign architecture and strategy, bringing the knowledge and framework to determine the right campaign approach for each initiative, define audience and channel mix, and ensure every campaign is built with clear objectives and measurable outcomes. This includes distinguishing between awareness, nurture, retention, and conversion-focused programs and applying the right strategy for each business need.
Equally important, this role owns the campaign workflow and processes across the NA Marketing team, ensuring campaigns are well-briefed, properly sequenced, and executed efficiently, enabling the team to operate with speed and impact.
The role reports to the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, North America Insurance.
The Senior Manager is a centralized resource and partner to all business line marketing leads across the North America Marketing team. This role manages a junior campaign specialist responsible for technical execution and marketing automation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the campaign strategy expert for the North America Marketing team. Partner with Retail, Wholesale, Distribution, and Alternative Channels marketing leads at the campaign planning stage to define objectives, shape briefs, and recommend the right campaign approach for each initiative
  • Develop strategic campaign frameworks, including nurture and drip campaigns, audience segmentation strategies, and client and broker communication journeys
  • Own the end-to-end campaign workflow process by designing, documenting, and continuously improving how campaigns are requested, briefed, reviewed and approved and handed off for execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of intake for campaign requests, ensuring all initiatives are properly scoped and briefed before moving to execution
  • Manage external agency relationships in support of campaign development and execution
  • Maintain a forward-looking campaign calendar to drive visibility, coordination, prioritization, and execution discipline across the North America marketing team
  • Track and report on campaign performance, bringing data-driven insights back to the team to inform future campaign decisions
  • Establish consistent campaign processes, governance, and ways of working across the organization
  • Stay current on B2B campaign best practices, marketing automation capabilities, and merging approaches relevant to the insurance and financial services sector
  • Remain current on emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices relevant to marketing and communications
  • Manage and mentor a junior marketing campaign team member, providing clear direction on technical execution, automation, and quality standards

Job Requirements:
  • 6+ years of B2B marketing experience with a strong focus on campaign strategy and execution
  • Strong understanding of campaign workflows, marketing operations, and how to build efficient and repeatable processes
  • Strong knowledge and fluency of marketing automation platforms, campaign management tools, and CRM systems, with a solid understanding of technical execution, even if not hands on day-to-day
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and translate business objectives into clear, actionable campaign briefs
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously across different business lines
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to guide and influence senior marketing colleagues on campaign strategy
  • Experience managing agency relationships

Education and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree required (Data Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing or related field). Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Salesforce CRM
