Job description

Description
Smithbucklin, a 650-person, employee-owned professional services company with more than 70 years of success serving the association market, with primary offices in Chicago and Washington, D.C., is looking for a Growth Marketing Campaign Manager to join our Corporate Marketing team in our Chicago or D.C. office.
Smithbucklin is the association management and professional services company that helps associations advance their missions, strengthen their boards, grow their membership, and deliver exceptional memberexperiences. Our people bring clarity, creativity and collaboration to every engagement. As we continue to invest in growth, we are expanding our marketing team to bring a new level of focus and discipline to lead generation, digital campaigns and prospect nurturing.
We are seeking a results-driven Growth Marketing Campaign Manager who can bring structure, creativity and discipline to our lead-generation programs. This person will be fluent in sales and marketing platforms (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Campaign Manager, HubSpot) and able to design, execute and measure integrated campaigns that move prospects through the funnel. The ideal candidate combines hands-on marketing execution with strategic campaign thinking. They'll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and bring proven experience in B2B lead generation, content marketing, LinkedIn advertising and attendee acquisition for company webinars and events.
At Smithbucklin, we embody a culture driven by optimism, ambition, expertise, and thoughtfulness, where every team member is empowered to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional results for our clients. Join us in shaping the future of association management, where our values serve as the cornerstone of our success.
What You Will Do:
  • Design, plan, and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns for Smithbucklin and 360 Live Media-from strategy and content development through launch, metrics and refinement.
  • Write and assemble campaign content (emails, landing pages, ad copy, social posts) and ensure alignment with audience targets and campaign goals.
  • Build and manage segmented email campaigns to engage prospects, nurture leads and support pipeline development.
  • Manage digital ad campaigns with a focus on LinkedIn (including sponsored content, retargeting and lead generation).
  • Identify and test additional marketing channels to expand reach and deliver high-quality leads.
  • Oversee a structured referral program to encourage client, partner and employee lead-sharing.
  • Track performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions) and continuously optimize campaigns.

This Role Might Be for You If You...
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you're balancing multiple campaigns and shifting priorities.
  • Are equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling up your sleeves to execute hands-on marketing work.
  • Are energized by analyzing data, spotting patterns, and optimizing campaigns for better results.
  • Stay curious and keep up with new marketing tools, platforms, and techniques.
  • Communicate clearly, manage expectations well, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Take initiative, move quickly, and solve problems without waiting for direction.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, or campaign management (alumni office, agency or professional services experience preferred).
  • Proven track record in email marketing and lead-nurture programs (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar tools).
  • Experience with event marketing and attendee acquisition campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns for performance.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action and a focus on results.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Association experience is a plus
