Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

  • Essential Responsibilities:
    Lead daily execution of the cybersecurity program, ensuring alignment with CISO strategy, risk tolerance, and business priorities.
    Ensure consistent operational performance, service reliability, and risk reduction across geographically and functionally distributed teams.
    Translate divisional priorities into operational plans, organizational structures, and coordinated programs and initiatives.
    Provides leadership continuity and operational oversight across Cybersecurity and acts on behalf of the CISO as delegated.
    Leads organizational change initiatives related to structure, roles, processes, and service delivery; builds alignment across leadership team and IT; ensuring effective communication, accountability, and follow-through.
    Partner with Legal, IT, Privacy, and business leaders to ensure timely, defensible incident management and risk escalation.
    Translate cybersecurity strategy into executable roadmaps, operating plans, and success metrics.
    Track delivery against objectives, risk reduction targets, and regulatory obligations; proactively identify gaps and remediation actions.
    Drive continuous improvement across cybersecurity processes, automation, and tooling to improve speed, scale, and resilience.
    Drive succession planning, workforce development, and leadership maturity across the security organization.
    Nurture a collaborative, accountable culture focused on outcomes, operational rigor, and professional growth.
    Support the CISO in developing and implementing the global cybersecurity strategy aligned to business, engineering, and manufacturing priorities.
    Serve as acting CISO when required, including executive briefings, board presentations, and crisis leadership.
    Assists the CISO in strategic oversight of the Cyber Department and may serve as acting CISO as required in meetings and committees during the CISO absence.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors in cybersecurity, engineering, computer science, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including leadership roles in global organizations.
