How to become a CISO?

A chief information security officer needs extensive knowledge of cybersecurity and the IT industry. You can start on this career path by earning educational qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in IT or cybersecurity. Most employers prefer executives with at least a master’s degree, such as an MBA with a focus on IT or cybersecurity. As an executive, you also need proven leadership skills and previous experience in a management-level position.
