Role Description:

Aderant is looking for aBusiness Systems Administratorto join the Business Systems team responsible for the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of a diverse portfolio of business applications and enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting and administeringCRM, ERP, financial, professional services, marketing, contract management, and other business applications. While experience with Salesforce is valuable, we are seeking someone with a broad understanding of business systems and the ability to learn, manage, andoptimizemultiple platforms.

The successful candidate will be an analytical thinker and problem solver withstrong communicationskills, technical curiosity, and a passion for automation, process improvement, and creating scalable solutions. This individual will partner closely with Business Systems leadership and stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Support, Customer Success, Professional Services, Finance, Legal, and other business functions to ensure our systems effectively support the organization's goals and growth.

The Business Systems Administrator willbe responsible forday-to-day administration, configuration, support, data management, integrations, and continuous improvement across the business applications ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a business systems administrator and technical subject matter expert for assigned applications, projects, enhancements, and integrations.

  • Support and administer a diverse portfolio of business applications, which may includeSalesforce, Atlassian, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Marketo, Ironclad, Gong,SuiteProjectsPro, and other CRM, ERP,financial management, professional services, marketing, and enterprise applications.

  • Manage day-to-day system administration activities, including user setup, permissions, roles, configuration, workflows, approval processes, reports, dashboards, integrations, and data updates.

  • Support system integrations and data flows between applications, working with technical teams and vendors as needed.

  • Maintain system security and access controls by ensuring users haveappropriate permissionsbased on their role, responsibilities, and business needs.

  • Monitor system performance, data quality, and overallapplicationhealth and proactivelyidentifyopportunities for improvement.

  • Create andmaintaindocumentation for system configurations, business processes, user guides, release notes, and support procedures.

  • Participate in application upgrades,new technologyimplementations, data migrations, testing, and other business systems projects.

  • Work closely with vendors and implementation partners to troubleshoot issues, evaluate functionality, and support system improvements.

  • Stay current on emerging technologies, platform capabilities, and opportunities toleverageautomation and AI to improve business processes.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experiencein business systems administration, application administration, systems support, or a related role.

  • Experience administering or supporting one or moreCRM, ERP, financial, marketing automation, contract management, professional services, or other enterprise business applications.

  • Experience with platforms such asSalesforce, Marketo, Ironclad, Atlassian, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Gong, or similar applicationsis highly valued.

  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail anda commitmentto data accuracy and system quality.

  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet multiple deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Technical curiosity and a willingness to learn new platforms and technologies.

  • Demonstrated interest in automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, ora relatedfield.

  • Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent certification in another enterprise business application.

  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, data management, or workflow automation.

  • Experience supporting SaaS applications in a growing organization.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing business systems projects or enhancements.
