Responsibilities

Altour has an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst in the travel industry!  The Buisness Process Analyst will be responsible for defining, developing, and delivering mid-office technology solutions and agent-facing systems. This individual will lead testing efforts, document system behavior and processes for operational and support teams and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) across supported platforms.

This role oversees the evaluation and delivery of automation-related requests and projects, including quality control systems, GDS scripting, and business analysis. Its objective is to drive agent productivity, end-to-end automation, and operational quality through innovative technology solutions.

This position reports to the Manager of Automation Development with a high level of communication between  departments.

Requirements & Business Analysis

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
  • Translate operational needs into functional specifications and solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to validate and ensure accuracy of business and technical requirements

Project & Delivery Management

  • Manage intake, prioritization, and tracking of requests and projects
  • Coordinate delivery across teams, including QA, development, and releases
  • Own release of features and functions, including coordinating QA and UAT testing as well as coordinating release with other applicable tools and teams.

Testing, Documentation, and Operational Support

  • Ensure solutions meet requirements through QA, UAT, and validation
  • Monitor system performance and resolve issues impacting quality control processes

Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME)

  • Own subject matter expertise across systems and processes
  • Establish and maintain standards, documentation, and process governance
  • Drive issue resolution, solution validation, and knowledge sharing to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • Corporate travel experience with direct exposure to Travel Quality Systems and GDS scripting
    • Concur Compleat, iQCX, AQUA, etc
    • Sabre Scribe or Sabre Red Apps
    • Amadeus Smart Scripts/ Smart Flows/ Quality Monitor
  • Proven hands-on experience with at least two GDS platforms (Amadeus, Apollo, Galileo, Sabre, or Travelport Plus), including knowledge of industry practices and corporate travel standards
  • Demonstrates strong communication and stakeholder management skills, effectively setting and managing expectations with internal and external partners
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and consistently deliver high-quality results on time
