Purpose of Role

The Sr. Business Planner, DTC leads topline forecasting and store planning for the brick-and-mortar retail channel within the Americas Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business. Operating as a strategic architect, this role owns the development of retail financial plans and store-level targets, ensuring alignment with high-level channel objectives.

This position is designed for a strategic "utility player" who can navigate the complexities of a high-stakes retail environment. You will work in a tag-team partnership with a peer planner to execute the game plan for our retail network. While each planner owns their zone of managing a specific segment of the business, you will operate from a shared playbook-syncing on logic and performance narratives to ensure the DTC team presents a unified front to executive leadership.

Your Impact
  • Lead financial planning for your designated retail segment while partnering closely with your peer to ensure the total store portfolio is aligned
  • Develop retail topline forecasts and store-level sales plans aligned to financial targets, incorporating traffic, conversion, pricing, promotional activity, and productivity drivers
  • Translate complex data into "executive-ready" insights and performance narratives that highlight trends, risks, and business implications for leadership decision-making
  • Evaluate store portfolio productivity and performance trends to identify growth opportunities, and manage the logic behind store-level productivity and incentive targets
  • Monitor performance against plan and drive re-forecasting and scenario planning to address traffic variability, promotional shifts, and external factors
  • Partner with Pricing, Marketing, and Finance to evaluate promotional effectiveness, analyze ROI, and "hold the line" on financial integrity
  • Enhance tools, templates, and reporting processes to improve planning rigor and data integrity
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years in Business Planning, Retail Planning, Finance, or Forecasting
  • Proven ability to build "from-scratch" financial models and create clarity in the "gray area" between corporate goals and store-level execution
  • Ability to work in a high-dependency environment, sharing ownership of the total retail channel's success with a peer planner
  • A steady, objective temperament with the confidence to provide fact-based feedback to senior leadership
  • Advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint storytelling ; proficiency in SAP, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, PowerBI, or similar tools preferred
Workplace Location
