Job description

Position Summary

Freedom Healthcare is seeking a dynamic, relationship-drivenBusiness Development Coordinator to support the continued growth of our behavioral health hospitals. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing business development initiatives that increase patient referrals, strengthen referral partnerships, expand community presence, and drive strategic growth across all service lines.


The Business Development Coordinator serves as the operational backbone of the Business Development team by supporting physician outreach, referral development, CRM management, marketing initiatives, census reporting, provider engagement, educational events, community partnerships, and market intelligence. This individual will work collaboratively with Service Development Representatives, Admissions, Intake, Clinical Leadership, Marketing, Executive Leadership, and community stakeholders to ensure consistent communication, timely referral follow-up, and achievement of organizational growth goals.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
  • Coordinate business development activities that support patient referral growth and census objectives.
  • Manage and maintain CRM data, referral tracking, and business development reporting.
  • Analyze referral trends and market data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate educational presentations, networking events, health fairs, and community outreach activities.
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Clinical Leadership, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to support strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor referral follow-up and ensure timely communication with referral sources.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and business intelligence data for leadership review.
  • Represent Freedom Healthcare professionally throughout the communities we serve.


Travel Requirements

  • Travel is required
    five (5) days per week.
  • Overnight stays required
  • Expense account provide for approved expenditures
  • Car Allowance
  • Candidates must be flexible with travel scheduling and understand that overnight travel is frequently required. Depending on business needs, this position may require overnight stays of up to four (4) nights per week.

  • Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 annually (DOE)
