Job Description

We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Apprentice (SBD) to join our San Francisco-based team who is intellectually curious, willing to learn, and hard-working. As an SBD, you will be the first sales contact that a prospect has with Elite Apprenticeships. Using outreach emails, phone calls, and social media, you will connect with the right person using the best possible message to set appointments for our sales teams. This is a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of sales and work with a product-centric team.


Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new leads

  • Understand and effectively communicate our offering and appeal to a variety of prospects by phone and email

  • Efficiently manage a high volume of both outbound and inbound conversations

  • Schedule quality meetings

  • Qualify, prioritize, and close both outbound and inbound leads

  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects

  • Ensure a seamless hand-off of appointments to the rest of the sales team

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information in our CRM

  • Analyze sales data and recommend new outreach strategies

  • Exceed monthly and quarterly qualified appointments objectives


Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Desire to grow and excel in a sales position

  • Individual and team contributor

  • Ability to both give and receive feedback

  • A commitment to learning, being adaptable, and having a great attitude

  • Commit to a 1 year apprenticeship
