Home Instead is looking for a Full-Time outgoing and personal Business Development Advisor (Sales & Marketing Position) to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. The Business Development Advisor is responsible for ensuring the achievement of revenue objectives for the assigned territory. Revenue is to be generated from a variety of Sales and Marketing duties, including researching and pursuing new referral sources and enhancing and maintaining relationships with existing referral sources. This position is responsible for reporting results in moving relationships forward to the Manager on a weekly basis, discussing successes and opportunities, and demonstrating documented progress and inquiry production in Sales/Marketing/Networking areas.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Research, Identify, Pursue & Nurture Professional Relationships with Referral Providers
  • Utilize Consultative Sales Process with Potential Clients
  • Develop Sales & Marketing Plans
  • Maintain Accurate Records
  • Report on Sales Results Weekly & Monthly
  • Build a Database of Qualified Leads from Referrals
  • Achieve Inquiry Generation Objectives with the Primary Goal of increasing the Overall Market Share
  • Target Accounts Include, but Are Not Limited to: Hospitals, Physicians, Home Health Agencies, Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Hospice, Etc.

Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct client/CARE Professional introductions as needed
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) visits with clients as needed
  • Participate in various PR strategies

Requirements:
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Personable and outgoing personality
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Able to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Outside Sales Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce a plus
  • Experence with WellSky a plus
  • Pass a Level II Background Screen

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • 1+ years related business or sales experience (consultative sales)
  • Must be able to work in the field and be insurable
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
