Alerion Aviation is hiring a Business Development Advisor at our West Palm Beach Office!


The Business Development Advisor is a client-facing role responsible for driving strategic growth across Alerion’s

aircraft management, brokerage, and partnership platforms. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position focuses on acquiring

and managing high-value client relationships, originating and executing aircraft transactions, and developing corporate

partnerships that expand the company’s market presence. The Business Development Advisor serves as a trusted advisor to

aircraft owners and industry partners, combining deep aviation market knowledge with strong commercial acumen to

support sustainable revenue growth and long-term client value.


Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive revenue growth by securing new aircraft management agreements, brokerage transactions (both buy and sell side), and strategic partnerships with related companies.
  • Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals for managed aircraft acquisitions.
  • Draft and manage listing agreements, consulting agreements, and aircraft management contracts.
  • Lead the marketing and sale of brokered aircraft, including preparing marketing materials, responding to letters of intent (LOIs), coordinating pre-purchase inspections, and managing purchase and sale activities from offer through closing.
  • Arrange, oversee, and coordinate escrow processes and aircraft closings.
  • Collaborate with aviation tax advisors, finance professionals, and corporate attorneys to support complex transactions.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for aircraft owner clients, interfacing directly with principal owners and their representatives.
  • Identify and develop new client markets and growth opportunities.
  • Provides high quality, accurate, and timely proposals, agreements, and transaction documentation.
  • Identify, evaluate, and support the development of new products and service offerings aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure the highest level of service for Alerion Clients.
  • Embodies the values of the Alerion culture and standard of service to help create and maintain a positive work environment and successful operation.
  • Ability to travel as required to support client meetings, aircraft inspections, and closings.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in business development, aircraft brokerage, aircraft management, or aviation consulting, with a strong understanding of private aviation markets.
  • Strong client advisory skills with experience supporting high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
  • Working knowledge of aircraft acquisition, disposition, management agreements, escrow processes, and transaction timelines.
  • Ability to prepare and present compelling proposals, business cases, and marketing materials to senior executives and aircraft owners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining accuracy, and organization in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, and solve problems
  • Exhibit professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills.
  • Proficiency with all MS Suite tools and eagerness to learn and master new software
