Job description

Business Development Advisor - Sales & Healthcare Outreach
Home Instead - Mitchell, SD
Home Instead is seeking a motivated Business Development Advisor to help grow our in-home senior care services throughout Mitchell, Huron, Yankton, and surrounding communities. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in sales, marketing, healthcare outreach, or case management who enjoy building relationships and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new inquiries and referrals to increase market share
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, and rehabilitation centers
  • Meet with families, social workers, and community partners to discuss care needs
  • Conduct Service Inquiries and Care Consultations
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, leads, presentations, and closed sales using CRM software
  • Develop a qualified referral pipeline through face-to-face visits, cold calling, email, phone outreach, and community networking

Education & Experience
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Sales or business development experience (consultative sales a plus)
  • Healthcare experience preferred

Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
