Five Locations Surrounding Metro-Milwaukee

Zuern Building Products & Design Center is a family-owned and operated building material supplier and design company. We have five expansive facilities with complete showrooms in Allenton, Cedarburg, Franklin and Watertown. We take pride in our tradition of providing high quality building materials and valuable services to our customers. We are "Building on Service".


Zuern Building Products & Design Center is currently looking for the right person to join our Warehouse Customer Service and Material Handling team at our Slinger location. This is a full-time position. Must be available Monday through Friday. This role offers the right candidate the potential to develop new skills with career advancement opportunities.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  1. Loading of materials to be delivered.
  2. Load customer orders.
  3. Stock and maintain product in bins.
  4. Put away stock and special order returns.
  5. Organize, stock and maintain warehouse.
  6. Basic housekeeping. ie: sweep aisles, straighten piles, pick up scraps.
  7. Care of product against damage.
  8. Attention to safety procedures at all times.
  9. Driving or delivery when needed.
  10. Attention to detail and accuracy in loading the correct product.
  11. Other duties upon request by a manager. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. Forklift certification required
  2. Excellent customer service skills.
  3. Ability to lift and carry 25 to over 100 pounds on a consistent basis. Possible weight of 125 pounds and over at times.
  4. Alert, focused and detail-oriented.
  5. Physically and mentally fit
  6. Self starter who works well independently as well as the ability to work well with others when needed
  7. Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
