Position Overview

Tough Mind Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Boca Grande, Florida. As a full-time member of our rehabilitation center, you will be integral in providing exceptional care to patients with a variety of functional limitations and disabilities. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

Operating hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a structured work schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to state practice acts by understanding and following the regulations that dictate physical therapy practices, including supervision guidelines.

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to devise effective and individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific functional limitations and rehabilitation goals.

  • Provide thorough evaluation services which encompass a review of medical history, conducting assessments, and documenting results to inform treatment protocols.

  • Implement treatment strategies based on evaluation findings, adjusting protocols as necessary to fit individual patient needs and adhere to best practices in the evolving healthcare landscape.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care; actively communicate and document any needed modifications to the treatment plan.

  • Engage in discharge planning and follow-up, maintaining accurate and timely records of patient care activities, including initial evaluations and discharge summaries.

  • Complete ongoing clinical training and uphold compliance with state, local, and federal regulations to maintain a high standard of patient safety and care.

  • Evaluate, treat, and direct therapy for patients identified as needing physical therapy, ensuring clear documentation of their medical necessity.

  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing patient access and improving service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population seeking outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation services, including individuals experiencing post-surgical recovery, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications
  • A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational program is required.
