WHAT WE DO

Host
The Host will greet and seat guests at the appropriate location in the dining room by following a server rotation, monitoring a waiting list, and answering the telephone. The host will also assist guests that are purchasing merchandise from the retail space. As a Host, you will serve as the face of our brand in the taproom, engaging with guests to educate them about our products while delivering an outstanding hospitality experience. This role combines product knowledge with exceptional customer service to create memorable interactions that reflect the values and quality of our brand.
Reports to: General Manager or Front of House Manager on duty
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Serve as the first point of contact in the taproom, greeting guests warmly and ensuring a welcoming and organized guest experience from arrival to seating
  • Answer the telephone to attend to guest needs and use Table Maintenance technology to manage wait and floor plan
  • Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation and exceptional guest experience
  • Process merchandise transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Knowledge and ability to answer guest's questions about merchandise
  • Restock the merchandise cooler and retail space to maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise layout
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking and organizing products in the retail space
  • Maintain general cleanliness of host area, front taproom area, and merchandise area
  • Assist with other side work duties such as cleaning the dining area, preparing silverware, refilling condiments, restock restrooms, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Must be at least 18 years of age* (17 allowed in certain counties)
  • At least one year of related experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortability with discussing our products in detail with guests
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to use Table Maintenance technology to manage wait and floor plan
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
  • Must be able to remain in a standing position for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 20 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping and reaching
