Dishwasher
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for kitchen work areas, equipment, tableware, and utensils by using a machine or manual cleaning methods.
Reports to: Executive Chef or Manager on Duty
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Clean all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
  • Correctly place and store clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas following all food safe practices.
  • Stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils as needed.
  • Clean and empty trash and recycling receptacles.
  • Move dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.
  • May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
  • Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
  • Follow all opening and closing duties as outlined in ABV guides.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Must frequently immerse hands in hot water.
  • Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.
