Role Purpose:
The Sr. Brewing Manager is responsible for the brewing operations at the plant. This position will set direction, goals, ensure compliance, and provide leadership for the entire brewing organization. The Sr. Brewing Manager will lead a diverse team to meet plant KPI's while maintaining the utmost quality, food safety and safety standards.
Accountabilities & Impact:
  • Sets strategic plan for the brewing, blending, and raw material handling process areas within the Brewing department.
  • Provide leadership and development of autonomous work groups while improving the core operations to enable the strategic direction of brewing and blending operations.
  • Accountability for the overall process, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and coaches through troubleshooting.
  • Owns budgeting process to meet P&L targets and overall capital strategy within the brewery.
  • Partners with all internal brewery departments including Safety, Environmental, Quality, Maintenance, Central Plant, Supply Chain, Warehouse, ManEx and Logistics.
  • Develop talent and allocate resources to identify and assist with the implementation of manufacturing process improvements.
  • Ensures the safety, quality, food safety, GMP, GLP, and HACCP requirements are followed by all team members.

Skills & Experiences Needed:
  • Bachelor's degree in science related field w/7+ yrs of relevant brewing, filtration, liquid blending experience or other high-speed food/beverage manufacturing experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership abilities and interpersonal skills in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency, and the ability to quickly allocate resources as needed.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Planning, project management, good financial acumen.
