Oyster City Brewing Company is looking for a HIGHLY motivated Social Media Intern for our location in Tallahassee, FL.

We're looking to bring on someone who loves craft beer, is a quick learner, and gets along well with coworkers. We would like someone who has high personal standards, attention to detail, takes personal pride in their work, and delivers a quality product.


The Social Media Intern position is designed to support the Marketing Manager by increasing consistency, creativity, and engagement across our social media platforms.

Time Commitment:
5-8 hours per week
Hybrid
Semester-based with potential to extend


Main Responsibilities:
The Social Media Intern will assist with day-to-day social media execution, including:
Creating and scheduling social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) using provided photos and graphics templates.
Capturing "live" photo and video content during events, promotions, and daily operations for use on social media "stories".
Writing on-brand captions and assisting with trend research.
Monitoring comments and messages, responding when appropriate, and flagging items that need manager attention.
Assisting with content calendars and campaign planning.
Staying current on social media trends and proposing creative content ideas.


Skills and Qualifications:
Interest in marketing, communications, or social media.
Strong written communication skills.
Familiarity with major social media platforms.
Basic photo and video skills using a smartphone or computer.
Ability to follow brand voice and guidelines.
Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
