Basic Function
Its an exciting time to join the HF Sinclair Marketing Team in our Retail Fuels Division. Over the last 100+ years we have grown to over 1,500 Sinclair sites and have an ambitious growth plan to continue growing significantly over the coming years. HF Sinclair is seeking a Brand Manager in Salt Lake City, UT. We are currently looking for a passionate and creative brand builder with big ideas. This is a highly strategic role that will focus on growing the value of the Sinclair brand through new creative ways and programs. This person will own and lead our relationships with our agency of record and insights agencies to create new and exciting brand campaigns that will attract new consumers and retain existing ones, in addition to enhancing our Consumer Value Proposition.
Job Duties
  • Manage & Execute Brand Strategy, Positioning & Standards
  • Manage agency & vendor relationships and budget reconciliations
  • Develop an Actionable Insights Strategy & Program
  • Develop Brand Campaigns and ATL & BTL advertising & marketing creative assets with marketing agency
  • Manage External & Internal Brand Communications
  • Social Media (Consumer) Innovate and create organic social calendar and posts. Manage and grow Community Management by 20% with marketing agency while working with the Brand Marketing Team to integrate and activate teams initiatives and goals
  • Manage and optimize SEO with marketing agency
  • Manage, optimize and grow ROI of PPC program with Marketing Agency by 20%
  • Proactively partner with, motivate, create advocacy for and collaborate with the Brand Marketing Team and greater Marketing Team on other team members initiatives
  • Ensure engagement and alignment with Marketing Team to ensure our Consumer Value Proposition supports our Distributor and Dealer Value Proposition
  • Lead the organization through annual brand planning
  • Update, monitor and action brand KPIs
  • Develop a Premium Fuel Strategy & Implementation Plan to grow premium fuel penetration by 30%
  • Assess, recommend, manage and create a new strategy for Brand Licensing Agreements

Experience
7+ years of professional marketing experience Managing and growing a Fortune 500 brand or a new innovative brand Performing consumer and customer segmentation and persona building Creating clear, effective and detailed agency briefs to ensure efficient execution End-to-end experience managing creative production execution with agencies Delivering sophisticated projects by collaborating with and delivering through others Managing medium to large marketing agency relationships Creating new strategies and implementing them to deliver results Managing sponsorships and extracting maximum value from them Engaging and collaborating with franchisees/distributors Creating effective and engaging brand communications to consumers, customers and internal stakeholders  
Education Level
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or a similar business related field
Required Skills
Presentation to groups of all sizes Strong organizational skills & project management Strategy Development & Implementation Creative Copywriting Collaborating with team, cross-functional team and customers
Preferred Skills

Work Conditions
Hybrid In general, work from home on Mondays and Fridays, work from Salt Lake City office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  On occasion there will be a business need to come to the office on a Monday or a Friday.  Certain events, sponsorships and trade shows may require to work on a weekend. Travel 10-25% by land and air required. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.
