Primary Purpose:

Leader, coach, mentor and strategic thinker for the sales and operation teams within the assigned branch location. Full P&L responsibilities; drive top line revenue, control costs and develop budgets. In this position you will be required to meet or exceed budgets by providing clear expectations and managing individual and team accountability through your exceptional leadership and mentoring skills. You will be the driving force in order to provide a challenging and personal/professional growth oriented environment which drives outstanding service to the customers in your market.

Essential Functions:

  • Meet with department heads daily in order to provide direction and set expectations
  • Monitor key performance indicators and overall financial performance of branch and take corrective action(s) in order to stay on budget
  • Arrive at the branch early and stay late to insure all departments are working to their full potential while maintaining company safety policies
  • Act as the Quality Control expert by Interacting with customers at the rental counter or through in person visits to customer construction sites or corporate offices throughout the day. Ensure the customer needs are being met and they are satisfied with Admar services.
  • Manage-by-Walk-Around; conduct daily audits in all departments to insure employees understand the Admar Experience and exhibits the characteristics of an individual who fits our culture.
  • Hold weekly meetings with departments in order to advance the Admar Experience.
  • On a quarterly basis, conduct an all-branch meeting in order to provide current branch financial and operational goal updates, as well as communicate new goals and expectations
  • Responsible for managing sales teams which includes; one-on-ones, ride along' s, joint customer meetings, team meetings, etc. Hold effective weekly sales meetings with outside sales reps in order to outline business objectives and make certain that the sales team has the information it needs to sell and rent the inventory you have in your branch.
  • Insures all sales reps are on budget during one-one interviews and create business and sales plans to correct as necessary
  • Works with the Service Manager to ensure that rental equipment is rent ready and manage teams to meet required fleet availability goals and ensure the rental depart has the ability to say yes to all orders from the customers.
  • Working with your rental and service manager, ensure all inventory line items are correct, no overage or loss in any lines. Have a system in place to have merchandise and parts inventory at correct levels in order to help customers purchase or rent the items they require
  • Ensure that all employees are participating and completing the required product and self-improvement training events
  • Participate in local trade organizations, i.e. sit on boards, attend functions, support group events
  • Create and implement an effective marketing plan to drive business through special events to promote the vast amount of equipment and services we offer

Requirements

Skills:

  • Ability to demonstrate a propensity to think in the abstract, make connections between disparate points of data to draw creative solutions

  • Must be goal driven, leadership minded and customer focused
  • Personality that is resistant to setbacks, and can continue to provide a positive and collaborative work environment in the face of adversity
  • Comfortable providing feedback immediately upon seeing performance issues with team members and understands the importance of accountability

Experience and Education:

  • Demonstrated and confirmed history of managing diverse groups of people with competing goals to a successful outcome within a professional organization
  • 5 to 10 years of documented advancement of increasing responsibilities within a face paced, business to business environment. High priority given to those leaders with industry experience
  • 4 year degree from an accredited university
  • Skills can be substituted for education
  • Verifiable references and a work history

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and walk. Employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

The work environment is that of a typical warehouse office. Some exposure to cold, heat, noise, fumes and dust.
