Job description

Pay: $110,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Why This Is a Great Opportunity

  • Join a consumer rights-focused plaintiff-side practice where you are actually fighting for people, not defending corporations
  • Manage your own docket from day one โ€” real responsibility, real autonomy, and real courtroom impact
  • Fully remote with flexible work arrangements and no geographic limitations on where you live
  • Work with a collaborative team that values your judgment and trusts you to own your cases
  • Opportunity to build FCRA expertise and grow in a specialized, high-demand area of consumer finance litigation
  • Competitive compensation with bonus potential

Location: This is a fully remote position โ€” work from anywhere in the U.S. We have offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco, but the majority of our team works remotely. Whether you are based in California or another state, you are welcome here as long as you hold an active California Bar license.

Note: Candidates must hold an active California Bar license. This is a firm requirement. Plaintiff-side consumer finance experience and FCRA background are strongly preferred but not required.

About Us

We are a California-based consumer rights law firm focused exclusively on the protection of consumers against financial institutions, creditors, and others who violate their rights. Our attorneys handle plaintiff-side litigation across a range of consumer finance matters, with a particular emphasis on FCRA and related claims. We are a tight-knit, mission-driven team that believes in giving attorneys the autonomy and support they need to do great work. Confidential Employer.

Job Description

  • Manage an independent docket of plaintiff-side consumer finance litigation matters from intake through resolution
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of consumer clients, advocating for maximum recovery
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Analyze FCRA and related consumer finance claims and develop litigation strategies
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
  • Collaborate with team members on case strategy and legal development
  • Stay current on developments in consumer finance law, FCRA, and related regulatory frameworks

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license (required)
  • 2+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
  • Plaintiff-side litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Consumer finance law background a significant plus; FCRA experience especially valued
  • Strong writing, negotiation, and case management skills
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage a full docket independently
  • Comfortable working remotely in a distributed team environment

Why You Will Love Working Here

You will be part of a firm that does work that matters. Consumer rights law is a specialized niche where skilled attorneys can build a meaningful career and make a tangible difference in people's lives. You will have real ownership of your cases, a flexible remote work environment, and the opportunity to deepen expertise in a high-demand area of practice. This is not a firm that micromanages โ€” we hire attorneys we trust and give them the space to thrive.
