Position Overview:
As a Coach, you will have the opportunity to make a difference every day while building an exciting career in fitness. You will work both one-on-one and in a group setting all while helping members achieve their fitness goals. Be the spark that inspires someone to keep training, to try harder, and to live healthier!
No lone wolves. We are looking for a trainer to be part of our team of trainers and to collaborate with our Front Desk Sales Associates to ensure revenue success for the Club.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver the best-in-class boxing classes - or follow class curriculum as designed and provided by the Franchisor
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build a loyal client base
  • Provide Orientations to first time guests - stance, basic footwork, punch mechanics and names, slips/rolls
  • Collaborate with Front Desk Sales Associated as needed to wrap hands
  • Follow up with first time guests after their workout and hand them back off to Front Desk Sales Associates.
  • Coach, motivate, and inspire members at every stage of their fitness journey
  • Demonstrate the value of private training by creating an outstanding experience for new and existing members
  • Make the club easy to use by guiding and educating members on comprehensive fitness programs and products
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:
  • A passion for the fitness industry and helping people live healthy lives
  • Boxing group fitness experience strongly encouraged
  • Strong understanding of the principles of physical fitness and proper exercise techniques
  • Outgoing, energetic, passionate, positive, motivational, hard-working, and empathetic
  • Strong desire to help others
  • Dedicated work ethic
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills

Certifications / Educational Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification
  • Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Fitness or related field or an approved Personal Training Certification (listed below):
    • ACSM, ACE, Cooper Institute for Aerobics Research, C.H.E.K, IFPA, NASM, NCSF, NESTA, NETA, NFPT, NSCA, PTA Global, W.I.T.S.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking
