JOB TITLE: Gerber Cut Table Operator
DEPARTMENT: Material Prep
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
STATUS: Full-Time
JOB SUMMARY: To produce various cut parts from roll fabric which are dimensionally correct to drawings or build plan, by following correct procedure to produce accurate results.
MAJOR DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate Gerber machine to correctly produce various cut parts from roll fabric.
  • Responsible to identify faults in fabric.
  • Accurate documentation required:
  • Work Orders
  • Cut Records
  • Material Record Cards, etc.
  • Responsible for awareness and compliance as applicable to the requirements of ISO9001 and the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) standards.
  • Interpret written work instructions and drawings to cut materials per requirement.
  • Required to have knowledge of all aspects of the work within the department.
  • Deliver cut materials in a neat and consistent manner to the marking area.
MINOR DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Required to change jobs frequently within department to meet tight deadlines at short notice.
  • Accountable for tracking fabric and cut materials.

  • Working in an environment where various solvents, adhesives, RF Welding equipment and industrial manufacturing machines are used is a requirement of this job role when working on projects.

Education/Experience:
  • Minimum High School education or equivalent required.
