Pay Range: $22.00 – 26.00 / hour (Based on experience) Job Type: Full-Time Location: Riverbend, MO

About the position: Metro Asphalt Inc. is seeking a dependable and organized Assistant Bookkeeper / Receptionist to join our team. We are a family-oriented company that values teamwork, respect, and a positive work environment. This position is ideal for someone with bookkeeping knowledge who enjoys working with people and being part of a close-knit office team.

What You'll Do:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Greet visitors and assist customers, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Process invoices and support bookkeeping functions
  • File and organize office documents
  • Assist with payroll-related administrative tasks
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Provide general administrative support to office staff and management

What We’re Looking For: We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Extensive bookkeeping experience is not required; however, a basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and office procedures is preferred. We are willing to train the right candidate. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a friendly, family-oriented environment where employees support one another and take pride in contributing to the success of the company.

  • Two years basic experience in accounting/bookkeeping required!!!!!
