Description:

Harvest Preparatory Academy has an opening for a Finance Assistant. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for completing day-to-day financial and accounting activities of Harvest Preparatory Academy. This individual will assist with standard operating procedures for all finance activities including internal auditing mechanisms and financial reporting; including costs and trending analysis. The position will assist the Finance Director with budgeting, forecasting, cash management, grants management and year-end closing as well as account management and new business development. This individual will comply with all Federal, State audits and will be assisting with presenting reports to senior management. This individual will also work closely with current Consultants for monthly and end-of-year utilization and financial reporting to Arizona Department of Education.

Associate's or higher degree in Business/Accounting preferred. At least two years of related experience preferred including experience in Finance and Education. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have advanced computer skills and ability to work in a high-volume work environment. Excellent problem solving and communication skills required. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered. Must be very detailed oriented.
