I am currently seeking an Accounting Technician with at least 7 years of experience in a public accounting firm for an accounting firm in Laval. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing accounting tasks for assigned clients (bookkeeping, bank account reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation); - Planning and organizing internal accounting for a client base primarily composed of healthcare professionals; - Preparing and posting month-end and year-end entries; - Making adjusting entries, including calculating depreciation on fixed assets; - Processing payroll and calculating source deductions; - Prepare government remittances, slips, and tax summaries such aa personal, corporate tax and trust - Prepare the company's statement of comprehensive income (SSI) on a monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual basis; Your profile Your profile: - Hold a college diploma (AEC or DEC) in accounting. - Be customer-focused and have excellent communication skills; - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively; - Adaptability and stress management skills; - Strong analytical and self-checking skills; - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; - Ability to work independently. - Knowledge of Caseware, Taxprep, Sage, QuickBooks, and Acomba software (an asset)
