Job description

About the Role
We are looking for a narrative-driven Product Marketer to become the voice of our product. In this role, you won't just write copy; you will own our end-to-end written content strategy across our most critical channels. You will sit at the intersection of product, marketing, and community, translating complex capabilities into compelling, value-driven stories.
An obsession with AI is a must for this role. Whether you have a proven track record of writing about AI technologies, or you are an avid AI power-user with a fierce intellectual curiosity for the space, you will be responsible for diving deep into AI research and making it accessible and exciting for our audience.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Community Ownership
  • Content Creation: Own the ideation, writing, and execution of all social media content (captions, threads, posts) across our active platforms.
  • Engagement Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic commenting/community engagement framework to increase brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Trend Jacking: Keep a pulse on industry trends, specifically AI advancements and tech shifts to ensure our social content remains relevant, timely, and authoritative.
Email Marketing & Editorial Content
  • Weekly Newsletter: Own the strategy and execution of our weekly email campaigns from scratch.
  • Deep-Dive Writing: Synthesize complex concepts into highly engaging content, including breaking down AI research articles, drafting customer case studies, and exploring industry-specific use cases.
  • Audience Segmentation: Ensure email content speaks directly to the pain points of different user personas.
Web & Long-Form Copy
  • Blog Management: Write high-quality, SEO-optimized blog posts that position our brand as an AI/industry leader.
  • Website Copywriting: Own and continuously optimize website messaging, landing pages, and product feature copy to maximize conversion and clarity.
  • Brand Stewardship: Serve as the ultimate guardian of the brand voice, ensuring a cohesive tone across every digital touchpoint.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 3+ years in Product Marketing, Content Marketing, or a heavily writing-focused marketing role (ideally within B2B SaaS, tech, or AI spaces).
  • AI Domain Expertise / Interest: Proven experience writing content in the AI/ML space, OR a demonstrably deep interest in AI. You are someone who reads AI newsletters, experiments with the latest tools, and genuinely enjoys learning how AI works under the hood.
  • Technical Translation: A proven ability to take highly technical concepts (like AI models, research papers, or product architecture) and translate them into crystal-clear, value-driven content.
  • Channel Versatility: You can seamlessly switch gears from writing a punchy 280-character social post to an in-depth, 1,500-word case study.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio of published work (blogs, newsletters, social campaigns, or web copy). Bonus points if you include pieces that showcase your ability to write about AI or complex tech.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Hands-on AI Tinkering: You have personally played with all the major foundational models and enjoy building, prototyping, or experimenting with AI workflows.
  • Startup Grit: Experience working in a fast-paced, scrappy startup environment. You know how to operate with ambiguity and build processes from the ground up.
Location & Compensation
  • Location: 5 days in office (San Francisco, CA)
  • Pay Range: $140,000 - $190,000 (Base salary range for California candidates)
  • Perks: Free breakfast and lunch provided daily in the office
