Salary:

FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

 

Your Responsibilities:

Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to be part of a team that keeps industries running? As a Chemical Operator, you’ll play a key role in creating high-performance lubricants that power everything from cars to wind turbines. You’ll work in a fast-paced, safety-first environment where your contributions truly matter.

  • Always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Safely operate forklifts or pallet jacks to retrieve and move packaging materials.
  • Blend raw materials into high-quality products based on precise customer specs
  • Follow detailed batch instructions to ensure consistency and quality
  • Operate mixers, pumps, and mills through analog and HMI controls
  • Using an RF Scanner, input material movements into SAP software to manage inventory and production data
  • Load and unload bulk tankers trucks and operate a spotter truck
  • Unload railcars raw materials
  • Label and fill packaging items in compliance with company, DOT, and OSHA standards.
  • Accurately measure and weigh chemicals into designated containers, following detailed instructions.
  • Complete batch tickets and manufacturing logs to ensure full compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times.
  • Report any damaged or missing inventory to supervisors promptly.
  • Support other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (technical experience a plus!)
  • 3+ years in manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with compounding, blending, or mixing required
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varying temperatures
  • Basic computer skills (SAP, MS Office)
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures, from hot to cold.
