Job description

Company: Vazyme is a global technology and service provider that is dedicated to the design, manufacture, and application of bioactive proteins and continuously expands the application fields of core technologies in life science, in vitro diagnostics, bio-medicine, and others.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to drive revenue growth, establish strategic partnerships, and expand our customer base. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance sales strategies.

Work Location:

This role is primarily work-from-home. However, the successful candidate must be based in the Houston, TX area, as the position requires regular local customer coverage, business development support, and occasional in-person meetings or events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Sales: Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive company revenue and market expansion
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competition, and potential areas for growth
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and manage partnerships with relevant stakeholders to enhance business opportunities
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate deals, pricing structures, and contracts to maximize profitability
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align business development strategies with company objectives
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and key business metrics
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Cell & Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, Genetics & Genomics, Immunology, Synthetic Biology, Environmental & Agricultural Biology, Life Sciences (for biotech/pharma), or a related field
  • A proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships is required
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to identify customer needs
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Mandarin Chinese proficiency is preferred.
