A bindery supervisor oversees operations and hourly employees at a bindery to ensure product production meets quality, budget, and efficiency requirements. Your responsibilities in this career include supervising the press, machinery, and printing production and making sure projects meet customer specifications, delivery requirements, and company policies. Other duties include ensuring continuous improvement of methods, productivity, and quality and performing first piece inspections on each product line. You also make sure the plant stays compliant with safety and work regulations, inform managers on all important issues that may impact quality, cost, and safety, and run machinery when necessary.
