Position Overview: Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our Albuquerque team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes while supporting overall administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize invoice batches for daily data entry
  • Review, verify, and process invoices, ensuring proper coding of payment documents
  • Generate and manage billing and credit transactions within the accounts payable/receivable system
  • Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies, questions, or requests
  • Perform invoice entry and other data entry tasks as needed
  • Identify and communicate issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Provide administrative support to management as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping (preferred but not required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
