About the Opportunity

HireQuest is seeking reliable entry-level workers for a Conveyor Belt Sorting Position at a materials processing location in North Portland. This role involves sorting various materials along a conveyor line to ensure proper separation and processing. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working on their feet.


Responsibilities

  • Sort on a conveyor line
  • Identify and remove incorrect or non-conforming items
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area around sorting stations
  • Move sorted materials to designated bins or areas for further processing
  • Follow company safety rules and wear required PPE
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor


Requirements

  • Ability to stand for entire shift and perform repetitive motion
  • Ability to lift materials as needed (weight varies by site)
  • Must be punctual and reliable consistent attendance required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to follow verbal instructions and safety procedures


Working Conditions
