Job description

Senior Director of Sales & Business Development

Qosmedix | Ronkonkoma, NY (Hybrid/Remote)

Position Overview

Qosmedix is seeking a results-driven and strategic Senior Director of Sales & Business Development to lead revenue growth, expand market presence, and play a key role in shaping the company’s long-term strategic direction. This executive will partner closely with the Division President and cross-functional leadership teams to drive innovation, strengthen key account relationships, and unlock new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader, with a strong foundation in B2B sales, team leadership, and business development. Experience in the beauty, cosmetics, or packaging industry is preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with the Division President to define and execute the company’s sales and growth strategy, aligned with overall business objectives
  • Identify new market opportunities, verticals, and go-to-market strategies to accelerate revenue growth
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to organizational planning and performance management
  • Translate market insights and customer feedback into actionable business strategies

Revenue Growth & Business Development

  • Own and deliver against revenue targets, profitability goals, and pipeline development
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans, including account targeting, pricing strategy, and channel optimization
  • Expand business with new customers while growing share of wallet with existing accounts
  • Lead complex negotiations and close high-value enterprise deals

Key Account & Relationship Management

  • Build and strengthen relationships with major beauty brands, retailers, and contract manufacturers
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for strategic accounts
  • Represent Qosmedix at industry events, trade shows, and key customer meetings

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales organization, including inside sales, account management, and external channels
  • Set clear performance goals, KPIs, and accountability frameworks
  • Implement effective sales processes, compensation structures, and incentive programs
  • Identify and develop internal talent to support long-term organizational growth

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to deliver a cohesive go-to-market strategy
  • Act as the “voice of the customer,” providing insights to inform product innovation and service enhancements
  • Ensure alignment across departments to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence

Performance & Analytics

  • Establish and monitor sales reporting, forecasting, and pipeline analytics to track performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Leverage data to inform decisions, optimize strategy, and drive continuous improvement
  • Report regularly to executive leadership on results, risks, and opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales and business development, including 5+ years in a leadership/management role.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and scaling B2B sales organizations
  • Strong leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience in beauty, cosmetics, packaging, or CPG industry preferred (not required)
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly strategic with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
