Job Title: Product Development Coordinator 

Location: 5 days a week at our NYC HQ  


We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Product Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team here at AXNY. The ideal candidate will directly support the product  development processes, coordinate samples (DEVELOPMENT/PP/TOP), and contribute to the conceptualization and realization of new products. Product Development Coordinators are expected to have excellent project management skills, be detail-oriented, and have a solid understanding of product development from inception to market introduction.



Responsibilities: 
Product Development Coordinator is to facilitate the successful development and launch of high-quality products that meet our company’s standards and customer expectations. Supporting the head of PD, Manager. Product Development Coordinator is to facilitate the successful development and launch of high-quality products that meet our company’s standards and customer expectations.


Consistent follow up: Working closely with design to ensure development information and updates are properly communicated to our overseas partners. Closely monitoring the status of each style from proto to line sample to cc sample stage, escalating issues when necessary. Maintaining accurate and clear information on seasonal products in A2000, in PLM and Style Tracker. Establishing Positive Working Relationships: establishing effective working relationships with senior management, team, and peers. Remaining engaged and open to learn and grow in this position and beyond. Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude with strong communication skills.


Multi-tasking: Ability to multi-task throughout the development season and prioritizing to meet calendar deadlines. Maintaining a strong sense of urgency to complete independent tasks and contribute to team projects as needed. Being flexible and adjusting to the needs of the business is essential.


Team Collaboration: Supporting internal and external teams and collaborating on overall brand and product direction for the season. Teams include design, overseas offices, FIT/TECH, sales, merchandise strategy and marketing. Adapting to the needs of the team to ensure the development process runs smoothly and effectively.


Responsibilities:

Education/Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role in footwear/ fashion space. Club brands is a plus
• Formal degree in Fashion/Design.
• Very high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Excel/A2000 is a must.
• Highly organized
• Basic understanding of footwear materials, fit and construction across categories.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, positive, adaptable, and dependable attitude.
• A team player, you contribute positively to team dynamic, cultivate passion and productivity.

• Experience with Illustrator and Photoshop

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $67K - 75K annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
