About the Role:
Q39 BBQ is searching for a seasoned Pitmaster who knows how to respect the craft of low-and-slow. From managing the fire to perfecting the bark, we need someone who lives for smoke, precision, and consistency. You’ll be responsible for preparing, smoking, and maintaining top-quality BBQ meats that make guests say, “That’s the best brisket I’ve ever tasted"
PAY IS NEGOTIABLE!!!

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate and maintain smokers, pits, and grilling equipment

  • Trim, season, and smoke meats to perfection (brisket, ribs, pork, chicken, and more)

  • Monitor temperatures, cook times, and ensure quality every time

  • Keep prep areas clean, organized, and food-safe

  • Manage meat inventory and prep for daily service

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to keep the ‘cue flowing strong

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior pitmaster or smoking experience (commercial BBQ or competition-style a big plus)

  • Passion for BBQ and a strong understanding of smoke, wood, and meat

  • Ability to handle early mornings, long cooks, and physically demanding shifts
