Pay or shift range: $17.50/hour to $19.39/hour

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Job Summary

Ultimately provides top rate service to all customers by providing accurate and efficient service, process and record routine transactions for bank customers including cashing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments and money transfers. Responsible for professionally promoting MCB’s products and services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify customers and accurately manages various transactions, including validating and cashing checks, accepting cash and/or checks for deposit, receiving and counting working cash, and processing cash withdrawals.
  • Perform specialized tasks such as preparing cashier's checks, personal money orders, and exchanging foreign currency.
  • Perform services for customers such as ordering bank cards and checks.
  • Receive and verify loan payments and mortgage payments.
  • Balance currency, cash, and checks in cash drawer at end of each day.
  • Answer inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts and other bank related products.
  • Other duties as assigned.

     Experience

    • Some clerical, administrative, cash handling, sales or customer service experience preferred.
    • Relevant computer skills.
