Job description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:   (90%)

• Interact with customers in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner.
• Coordinate with Loan Servicing Center to conduct UCC inquiries along with filing and satisfying UCC and mortgages.
• Coordinate with the loan officer and Loan Servicing Center to manage Work Flow items including, but not limited to, UCC inquiries, scanning signed loan documents,     indexing financial spreads, etc.
• Prepare loan amortizations, correspondence letters, and loan file comments as directed by lending officer.
• Accept, process, and check-back loan payments and loan advance requests. Initiate wire transfers as needed.
• Organize and maintain files following a loan documentation checklist to ensure all required documents and signatures are on file.
• Assist in gathering financial statements, tax returns, income statements, credit reports and other documentation.
• Input balance sheets and tax returns on the credit analysis software.
• Assist in preparing credit presentation packages for loan committee.
• Initiate wire transfers.
• Process annual loan reviews, including sending renewal packets to customers.
• May be called upon to provide back-up to Teller/Customer Service Representative responsibilities. This includes handling basic teller duties, and dual control responsibilities.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:   (10%)

• Provide backup support for other areas as needed – receptionist, teller, etc.
• Opens and closes all types of deposit accounts including checking, savings, certificates of deposits, IRA’s.
• Process debit card requests – activate, close, delete, hot card, research customer issues and review reports.
• Connect customers to Internet Banking and other Retail Technological Products and assist with related banking issues.
• Assist Personal Bankers and Universal Bankers in scanning/indexing duties as needs arise.
• Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required training.
• Represents Bank at various civic and community events.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Education

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent

Experience

  • 2-5 years previous banking experience preferred.

 WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed largely within the Bank with limited chance for personal injury.  Prolonged and frequent mental and visual concentration required.  Periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines.  Work hours are generally during normal business hours.  Unscheduled evening and weekend work may be needed to meet the needs of customers and employees.  Occasional out-of-town and overnight business travel may be required. Work on some Saturdays will be required.  Must be able to lift and move up to 20 pounds of office supplies and equipment.  Some bending, turning, and twisting required.
