Position: Private Banking Officer
Department: Trust & Wealth Management
Location: Tulsa, OK (On-Site)

Summary:
Seeking a Private Banking Officer in either Tulsa or Oklahoma City markets to expand our Private Banking presence across our metro markets. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Equity Bank's current environment with an entrepreneurial spirit to build and broaden a growing division. Prior experience in Private Banking is a plus but not required. Must be comfortable in various environments talking with business executives and High Net Worth families.
Responsibilities and Expectations
Key Responsibilities
Private Banking
  • Drive new sales opportunities by identifying client financial needs through consultative sales and relationship reviews
  • Resolve internal and external client issues
  • Contribute to the bank's profitability and growth by achieving goals for fee income, new deposits and growth while maintaining expenses
  • Participate in outside business development opportunities and networking events

Product Knowledge
  • Stay abreast of key competitor product/service offerings in target markets, including products, features, pricing and competitive advantages/disadvantages
  • Develop knowledge of all lines of business to better identify solutions for client, thus creating opportunities for product partners
  • Understanding of credit risk, operational risk, and risk associated with various products and how the risk relates to both clients and the bank

Product Development
  • Collaborate with Retail, Credit, and Wealth Management regarding product features/benefits and enhancements necessary to remain competitive in targeted customer and geographic markets

Marketing/Sales
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for new and existing high-net worth clients
  • Proactively call on existing and new clients to introduce new product and service initiatives
  • Create and execute marketing ideas/events to develop and deepen client/prospect relationships

Reporting/Metrics
  • Enter Activities, Appointments, etc. into the Client Retention Module (CRM) to ensure a consistent and complete client experience
  • Maintain a current sales pipeline

Required Skills & Education
Requirements
  • Private Bank/Retail Banking experience
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Business, Finance or related field
  • Sales or Marketing experience
  • Interpersonal skills commensurate with conducting external client presentations
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter
  • Some Travel between bank and client location is required
  • Time management skills, ability to effectively manage internal/external requests, opportunities and concerns in a timely manner
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft products; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
